At Gunthorpe Primary School, we aim to meet the educational needs and raise the achievement of all our pupils.

Some pupils will, permanently, or from time to time, have a significantly greater difficulty in learning than other children of their own age.  We give pupils individual consideration and make provision for them, taking into account their views, strengths and needs.  We work in partnership with parents and other agencies.

All pupils are given access to a broad and balanced curriculum which is adapted to ensure equity for everyone.

We encourage and support all pupils to become independent and to take responsibility within our school.  Our environment provides access to our whole site and we believe that everyone in our school community has a positive and active part to play.
